At the half way mark, Mick Pedler was the leader with 18 points, to win the 9 Hole Competition which was played on the Front Nine. Alan Schultz and Terry Chant both scored 17 points, “Schultzy” winning the countback for second place.
Mark Pilmore blitzed the back nine with 21 points to come home as winner of the 18 hole Competition with 37 points, finishing two better than Mick Pedler in second place on 35, followed by Terry Chant in third place with 34.
Nearest to Pin on the 5th Hole was Mount Gambier visitor, Craig Foster.
A good field of 33 Men competed for the Monthly Medal, played in conjunction with the Stroke round at the Millicent Golf Club on Saturday 1st September. Scores counted for the DeGaris Lawyers Eclectic and there was also a Putting Competition.
Monthly Medalist was Allan Schultz who had a nett 69, he also won the A Grade Competition from Andrew Ferguson with a nett 70, followed by Ben Golding on nett 75.
Justyn Saint had a win in the B Grade with a nett 74, two better than Scott Lonergan, nett 76, and in third place was David Seymour with nett 77.

No B Graders hit the 9th Hole with their 2nd Shot.
Putting Competition was won by Alan Schultz with 25 putts.
Ian Greenwood and Justyn Saint were awarded two Golf Balls each for birdies that they both scored on the 3rd hole.
Next Saturday’s Competition for both Men and Ladies is Stableford.
