Millicent Golf Club Ladies Open Day

Millicent Golf Club Ladies held their Open Day on Tuesday 5th September 2017. With a change in format, players from around the district were invited to play in a Pinehurst Foursomes Event. 76 players from 10 clubs entered but with strong winds and rain present, 66 ladies took to the course. Thanks to the hard work of a few men on Monday, the course was presented in fantastic condition. All ladies finished the 18 holes, which was a credit to them in trying weather. The new format proved to be very popular as everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day despite the conditions and some excellent scores were returned. After play, a scrumptious afternoon tea was provided by the Millicent Ladies and the presentation of trophies followed.
